STANDARD DISPENSING MODEL:
When the AutoPills dispenser arrives just open the box hang it up and plug it in. Press the menu button on the keypad to initiate a self-explanatory Help Menu on the 80 character LCD display. By following the directions indicated on the LCD screen, you can program the time, date, and the dosage times desired to have medication dispensed. The AutoPills monitor features an interchangeable medication dispenser cassette for easy loading. Once the dispensing times are programmed and the cassette is filled, simply lock the dispenser with the key. An audible alarm will alert you when it is time to take your next medication(s). An alarm sounds when the pills fall into an easily retrievable pocket. The medications are accessed by simply pressing the top of the clear dispensing door. When the medications are not retrieved, an alarm will continue to sound at regular intervals with increasing volume. This unit comes equipped with a bracket for easy mounting on any, smooth surface.
