AutoPills:

AutoPills, Inc. is a Nevada corporation founded by President/CEO Allen Burggraf. He is the inventor, designer and financer of the AutoPills automated capsule and tablet medication dispenser's initial research, prototyping and testing. AutoPills is solely owned by Allen Burggraf.

America was built prospered in most part due to the industrial revolution. Our country reigned supreme for decades because of America's industrial might and proud blue-collar workers. The wholesale export of the best paying blue-collar jobs to foreign countries presents a dismal outlook for our citizens and our economy.

AutoPills believes in America, its people and their ability to compete with the world's economies if given a living wage and good benefits. It is the employees that cause a corporation to thrive and they should be rewarded for their efforts. AutoPills has located American manufactures to supply its component parts which often have required re-engineering to adapt to American production. To further illustrate AutoPills commitment to our "Made in America" philosophy, our manufacturing plant is located in Gallaway, Tennessee with a town population 805 in hopes of breathing life into their economy. We proudly manufacture our products in America and have transitioned to the production phase of the AutoPills program.

From 1998 to 2001, Allen Burggraf, the inventor, implemented the early stage development of the Automated Pill Dispenser. Mr. Burggraf submitted a provisional patent to the United States Patent Office for his dispenser in 2000. His patent was approved in late 2003 and patent number 7347341 was issued in 2008. In July of 2001, Mr. Burggraf incorporated AutoMeds, Inc in Nevada and applied for a humanitarian grant through the Gene Grobstein Consulting Company of Phoenix, Arizona. On August 27, 2001, AutoMeds was awarded a $5.8 Million Dollar humanitarian grant on its own merits based on the terms of its' original business plan. The grant was scheduled for disbursement in October 2001 but shortly before this the September 11, tragedy occurred and the grant which had ties to aircraft sales to Dubai was never funded.

Beginning in late 2001 prototype development was initiated and preceded through 2004 at which time injection mold tooling for plastic parts began. In early 2004 a 30,000 sq ft manufacturing plant was purchased in Gallaway, Tennessee. The first dispensers were placed for testing in March 2005. Since that time all problems that were identified as with all new products have been resolved and tooling changes made. Full production of the AutoPills dispenser began in February 2008. AutoPills was a front page article in the May 30 issue of the Business Journal in 35 cities as well as many other publications associated with the health care industry.

Currently AutoPills is a Medicaid waiver provider in 11 states as an assistive technology and is identified as a national Medicaid provider. In April 2007 AutoPills retained The Washington Group a Washington DC lobby firm to negotiate a contract with the Veterans Administration. The Team that worked with AutoPills at the Washington Group consisted of S. Steven Karalekas, James Noone and Paul Lobo. Paul Lobo attended all meetings with Allen Burggraf in 2007-2008 with the VA, agencies associated with healthcare and medical technologies. The AutoPills dispenser is registered with the FDA as a class 3 medical device and is on the Federal Government and VA supply schedules.

The economic collapse of the state Medicaid programs in 2008 forced AutoPills to temporally close its manufacturing operations. Engineering development, however, continued on the next generation AutoPills dispenser to accept disposable pre-filled disposable cassettes. Development of the pharmaceutical equipment necessary to rapidly load multi- medication disposable cassettes was continues as well.

In July 2011 manufacturing and marketing rights were licensed to Emerging Healthcare Innovations of Las Vegas, Nevada.
